The Golden State Warriors have agreed to a five-year, $110 million extension with guard Brandin Podziemski.
Agent Bill Duffy confirmed the details to ESPN on Saturday. His client avoided restricted free agency next summer.
The deal with Podziemski, 23, is fully guaranteed and includes a mutual option for the final season in 2031-32.
After earning $5.6 million in the final year of his rookie deal in 2026-27, he will earn $18.9 million next season.
Podziemski averaged 13.8 points, 5.1 rebounds and 3.7 assists while playing all 82 games (43 starts) last season. He shot 37.1% from behind the arc and his 153 made 3-pointers were second on the team to Stephen Curry’s 190.
Since being drafted in the first round (19th overall) in 2023, Podziemski has averaged 11.6 points, 5.3 rebounds and 3.6 assists in 220 games (104 starts) with Golden State.
The Warriors open the regular season on the road against the Los Angeles Lakers on Oct. 21.
